Law students are able to apply for an amazing range of career opportunities upon graduation. Like few other degrees, a law degree opens doors in everything from management and public service positions right through to the traditional avenue of actually practicing law.

Law students engage in one of the most rigorous educational paths and the CLSS believes that you deserve to reap the rewards for your hard work at the end of the degree by finding the best career that will interest, challenge, motivate and above all, satisfy you. Even if you are in your first semester of your legal studies, it is never too early to start thinking what type of career you want and taking the steps that will help to make that happen.

At every stage of your studies, the Careers Portfolio can provide tools to help you towards your desired career. The annual Careers Fair and subsequent publication of the Careers Guide are key aspects to this portfolio - as are a number of other great events held throughout the year.

Should you have any questions or comments in relation to your career, we are happy to discuss this with you.

Careers UC is also a great place to seek career advice. The team at Careers UC facilitate workshops on everything from interview skills to writing a great CV, so the sooner you get in touch the better!
